How it all began
I went to the Arvika festival in 2003 to check out this band called Kaizers Orchestra.
I was totally stunned by their live preformance. After the show I managed to sneak in backstage where I met the band. We talked about the Swedish music scene and I realized that they were huge fans of the band I had been playing in Atomic Swing (who broke-up back in -97).
A couple of months later the leadsinger of Kaizers, Janove called me, he was looking for a organplayer for his soloproject and since that was my main trademark in Atomic Swing he asked if I wanted to join him in the studio. In 2004 we spent some time in Bergen recording his album and then we went on tour. The band also included Øysten Skælaaen (from Real Ones), Børge Fjordheim (from Cloroform and Mårten Abels band), and trumpetplayer Sjur Miljeteig.
During sparetime on the tour, I used to sit and play my songs whenever I got hold of a piano. So before the tour had ended and Janove got buzy with Kaizers Orchestra again he told me that he liked my songs and said that I should record them, at the same time offering to be the producer. And so it went. In January we recorded the album in the dark woods of Värmland/Sweden, at Isit Art Studio.
In February 2006 Atomic Swing reunited and recorded a new album. Then in March 2006 I went on tour (for a month) as the support act for Kaizers Orchestra on their European tour preforming my recorded material solo. After that we released the new album with Atomic Swing (in May 2006) and we´ve been on tour with Atomic until December 2006.
As I wrote 2007 in my calender, I had the time needed to release my soloalbum and do some touring. The album "This ain´t the end" was released in Norway 12:th of March and Sweden/Denmark on the 11:th of April. I did most of the touring by myself, but in Sweden and Denmark I played double bills with Canadians finest accordionplayer Geoff Berner.
